Kate is a nationally certified sign language interpreter and has worked for GW since 1994.

A holder of a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College, Kate has acquired a wide range of expertise that extends beyond the realm of art: in her time at GW, she has interpreted for students in School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Elliot School of International Affairs, the Law School, Business School, School of Public Health and the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences.

In addition, Kate has also interpreted for many federal and state agencies, Gallaudet University and local community events.

When not interpreting, Kate likes to hike, knit, read and play tennis.


Kate has a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College.
