- Associate Director of Technology Access
Seth works in close collaboration with stakeholders throughout the university to incorporate universal design principles and to advance GW's commitment to accessibility. In this role, he led the development of a strategic plan to implement accessibility initiatives, and he continues to work closely with GWU stakeholders to develop institutional priorities. Seth is also a member of the University's Accessibility Oversight Committee.
Prior to joining GW, Seth was employed for eleven years at IBM, where he worked as a Strategy Manager with IBM Accessibility. Before attending business school, he worked for Booz-Allen and Hamilton, a management and technology consulting firm, and Dow, Lohnes & Albertson, a corporate law firm.
In 2014, Seth participated in IBM Corporate Service Corps program and spent one month in Indonesia where he worked with a disability non-governmental organization on several accessibility initiatives. In 2011, Seth testified before members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions about how higher education can help improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
Seth serves on the Gallaudet University Board of Trustees and on the Lexington School for the Deaf Board in New York. In addition, Seth taught at the Gallaudet University Leadership Institute, and he hosted several technology camps sponsored by IBM for high school students with disabilities. He has presented on accessibility topics at several disability conferences, including the United States Business Leadership Network conference.
Seth is proud to be part of the GW community, a community of which his mother-in-law and cousin are members.
Seth holds a MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Business Administration from Gallaudet University.
