Composing Diversity

Composing Diversity is an event series sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and organized by DSS and the University Writing Program.

The series aims to promote awareness of and dialogue around issues of diversity as part of the first-year experience, specifically through University Writing courses.

Past Composing Diversity Events

Past events have included a screening of the documentary The Legend of Cool “Disco” Dan, a panel on the intersection of law and GLBTQ issues on college campuses, and talks by:

• chef and food scholar Michael Twitty
• romance novelist Beverly Jenkins
