He has interned at outlets such as The Weekly Standard and The Daily Caller. He is also a contributing writer for American Action News, Red Alert Politics, and New Voices Magazine.

In addition to his coursework and internships, Jackson co-hosts a weekly radio show titled Hear the Press for WRGW, District Radio.

Jackson has had the opportunity to interview the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Thomas Friedman of The New York Times and the syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer. Additionally, he has interviewed former State Department adviser David Makovsky, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, and Iowa Representative Steve King.

As a member of the Speakers Bureau, Jackson emphasizes the importance of not being afraid to own a disability, while at the same time, exercising personal responsibility both in the classroom and in a work environment. Self-advocacy, Jackson maintains, is crucial for everyone.
