Avani Rao

I am pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at GWU, with a strong foundation in data analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies. I completed my undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communication from RCOEM Maharashtra, India. Professionally, I led a team of interns during my internship at Persistent Systems, where I conducted Scrum calls and managed team tasks. After a successful 6-month internship, I was converted to a full-time employee, contributing further to projects involving data product engineering and vulnerability management for IBM. I worked as a Data Product Engineer at Persistent Systems for IBM (2022-2023), where I handled customer-side tools like ServiceNow, resolving vulnerabilities and reducing open backlogs. My experience also includes designing NodeOS features on RedHat and diagnosing provisioning bugs to enhance system performance.
