Disability Support Services (DSS) is committed to providing equal educational opportunity and participation for all students at GW. DSS works to foster an environment that is inclusive and equitable by providing reasonable and appropriate accommodations and support services for students with disabilities.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The deadline for submitting an application for academic accommodations to be applied to the Spring 2026 semester is 11:59 pm on Monday, April 20th 2026. All applications for accommodations received after this date/time will be reviewed for Summer and Fall 2026 forward. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

New Student Drop-in Hours
If you would like to speak with an Accessibility Associate before you request accommodations, DSS has virtual drop-ins scheduled each Monday and Wednesday from 1-3pm (EST) (excluding University holidays).
Please note: you will need to wait in the Zoom waiting room until an Accessibility Associate is available; expect the drop-in meeting to last no more than 10-15 minutes to determine next steps. Please access the meeting using this Zoom link.
Instructor Drop-in Hours
DSS will host virtual drop-in hours to help faculty navigate the instructor portal through April 23rd. The drop-in hours are scheduled for 2-4 pm (EST), Tuesday and Thursday. Please use the following info to access the meeting:
