Alternative Text Materials

Request conversion of print-based course materials to alternative formats that enhance accessibility.

There are resources available in the Gelman Library technology labs for blind and low-vision students.

Classroom Accessibility

Review assistance provided to ensure physical access to GW classroom spaces and the activities that occur within them.

Housing Accessibility

Follow the procedures for requesting disability-based housing accommodations, including the approval of assistance animals.

Interpreting and Captioning Services

Request sign language interpreting and Communication Access Real-time Transcription (CART) services for deaf and hard of hearing students.

This supplemental accommodation provides assistance with in-class note-taking practices.
