Taylar Johnson
Taylar brings a multidisciplinary background in technology, human development, and inclusive design. She holds a Master of Science from the University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering's Technology Division and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Her work is supported by certifications in Socio-Behavioral Educational Research, Mental Health, Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Development.
Taylar also brings experience in higher education and organizational collaboration, having worked across Disability Services and Student Life. Prior to joining DSS, she partnered with Career Services, Human Resources, Emergency Management, Facilities, and Athletics to advance disability initiatives grounded in human-centered design. Her approach emphasizes cross-functional alignment, equity, and sustainable leadership practices.
