Request for Digital Letter to Professors Received
Thank you for requesting your digital DSS Letter to Professors. Your digital letter will be attached as a PDF and emailed to your GW email address within 2-4 business days starting at the beginning of the semester.
You are reminded to submit requests within a timely manner, so professors are aware that you are registered with Disability Support Services and are eligible to request accommodations during the semester.
Please read through your letter thoroughly before forwarding or providing it to your professor. Remember that it is your responsibility to "schedule a conversation" with each of your professors—either during office hours or at any other convenient time—to discuss the accommodations for which you have been deemed eligible. Your professors are not under any obligation to meet a request for accommodations without first receiving your letter from DSS. Please note that you are not required to disclose the specific diagnosis of disability that makes you eligible for an accommodation.
NOTE: You may not reuse any physical or digital letters from previous semesters for the current semester.
